What are the best spring dessert recipes?
Looking for a staple springtime dessert, but not quite sure which to go with? I mean, it all depends on personal preference and what type of desserts you like. But typically during springtime (especially when I’m hosting guests), I find myself making a lot of tarts and fruity desserts. I love them because…well, who doesn’t love a fruity pick me up? I think they really set the tone for the warmer weather outside and what’s to come…summer!!

Things to Consider Before Baking:
Before you begin your springtime dessert baking, you may want to keep in mind a few different things.
Firstly, if you want a fruity recipe – what kind of fruit do you plan on using? You want to choose something that is in season and easy to get your hands on! We have a lot of great fruit-based recipes below.
Secondly, think about bake time. How much time do you have to make said dessert? If you’re on a time crunch, we have a bunch of super easy and quick recipes that we’ve included in this article.
Thirdly, if you’re hosting guests – make sure to ask them if they have any food allergies or preferences before baking. In my household, we can’t do anything with nuts and are always having to remind people when we head over to their house for dinner. You’d be surprised at the various allergies that people have!
