Hope you all had an AMAziNG Fourth of July holiday! I recently tried grilled peaches for the first time this weekend and they are now my new go to summer dessert! Now that our red, white and blue themed desserts have been exhausted (if that’s even possible) I thought I’d share an easy recipe for delicious Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream! They’re SO easy to make and like all of my grilled desserts (HERE and HERE and HERE), they are full of flavor!
The recipe is simple:
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of sugar
fresh peaches, pitted and halved
Start by pitting your peaches and cutting them in half. Coat them in a drizzle of canola oil and place face down on the grill on top of a sheet of foil.
Place lid on grill and grill for about 5-7 minutes. While grilling, mix together your melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar in a small bowl.
Remove the peaches from the grill and top of the butter mixture for topping.
Top with fresh vanilla ice cream and more of the butter mixture. The mixture hardens on top of the ice cream and creates a great “shell like” topping with a little crunch to it (it’s super tasty!).
I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and try this recipe out, you won’t be disappointed! When you go to grill, to make your dessert creations go even faster, be sure to use your HomeRight ElectroLight Firestarter.
The Firestarter gets lets you get your grill on faster, so no more waiting endlessly for your charcoal to heat up! That’s how we can enjoy quick and simple desserts, like this one, in no time at all!
With this tool you can easily start your charcoal grill in 2-3 minutes, rather than the 15+ minutes it typically takes for us to heat it and have it ready to actually grill on! No more lighter fluid or chemicals needed!
Pin it for later….
