Summer time is the PERFECT time of the year to make tasty drinks and enjoy them outside with family and friends. My aunt makes this amazing Peach Schnapps Iced Tea Slushy and I couldn’t wait to share the recipe with you!! This is an adult slushy drink, so it does contain alcohol, so if you’re a non-drinker then you’ll have to find a substitute for the Peach Schnapps, but if you don’t mind the alcohol, this is SO good and refreshing!! This is such an EASY frozen alcoholic slush recipe that everyone will beg you for the recipe after they have a glass! Here’s how to make these Peach Schnapps Slushies…

drinks with peach schnapps

How to make Peach Schnapps Slushies

You start by letting six cups of water steep with six tea bags. I prefer to use Lipton Cold Brew teabags, but you are welcome to use any brand that you prefer. Once the tea has steeped, remove the teabags and pour into a pitcher. Next, add your peach schnapps.

I say to add 1-2 cups here (or more) because you can truly increase or decrease the alcohol content based on how strong  you like your drinks. Another fun option would be to use one cup of peach schnapps and one cup of bourbon if you want a stronger, less sweet, drink.

Don’t forget to add your sugar and then place in the freezer overnight. Once frozen, break up the mixture and pour sprite or 7-Up over top of it to create a delicious slushie mix. You can even place in a large bowl or serving dish for parties…make lots of it though because once your guests try it, they won’t stop coming back for more!

Take it outside and refresh your guests with a nice cold, icy beverage PERFECT for a hot day!! Pair it with a nice steak or kebabs and a pasta salad or baked potato and your guests will be feeling your summer vibe through their bellies!

Can you refreeze this slushy?

YES! If you don’t drink it all before it melts, simply place back into the freezer and freeze it again for the next time you have people over!

Do you pour the Sprite/7UP in the pitcher or in each glass after you have put a ladle of slush in your mason jar?
