I have something to admit to you guys…I’m ADDICTED to Starbucks. I have one in the bottom of my office and up until the start of the year, I was honestly there daily (don’t even start lecturing me about how expensive that is…I know…and I started limiting myself to once a week). Starbucks to me has always been equated with a warm, cozy feeling. When my son was a kid, Starbucks was our special treat. Starbucks is where we went on a cold winter day and got an afternoon drink. To this day, my son drinks his “coffee” as a Kids Caramel Steamer. So naturally, I was PRETTY DARN EXCITED when I saw that Starbucks came out with a new line of Starbucks® Hot Cocoa K-Cup® pods. Today I’m sharing how I used their Keurig Hot Cocoa K-Cups to make this yummy Chocolate Cherry Hot Cocoa!! Check it out….
The recipe is real simple:
2 tablespoons maraschino cherry syrup
1 Starbucks® Hot Cocoa K-Cup® pods
whipped cream and cherry to top
Starbucks has taken the guess work out of hot cocoa making. It has never been easier. Made with real cocoa and non-fat milk, there are two new Classic and Salted Caramel flavors that let you indulge at the press of a button! No matter how you enjoy them, with your favorite toppings or enjoy as is, each cup is a taste of rich, chocolaty comfort!
Grab your coziest blanket, top your cocoa with your favorite toppings…or just drink it with a delicious marshmallow topping…and relish in the time it DIDN’T take you to make the whole family hot chocolate on a cold winter day.
