What is the difference between Ergobaby and Lillebaby carrier?
While the carriers are very similar, there are some key differences. Let’s start with the Ergobaby 360. It features lightweight mesh material that is sure to keep you and your little one comfortable. It’s also breastfeeding friendly, so you don’t have to worry about that while you’re out and about! We love the 360 option because of its breast-feeding friendliness and the breathable material.
The Lillebaby, on the other hand, is not as breast-feeding friendly. The material is definitely not as breathable and lightweight, but it’s still comfortable. However, the Lillebaby Complete has a few different features that we love. You can use it from infancy – whereas the 360 recommends its carrier from 4 months and up. Therefore, the Lillebaby is amazing for longevity of use as it can also be used until 45 pounds. Personally, I love the newborn fetal position carrying option and the fact that this product can grow with your child.
Therefore, because of the longevity of use, I have to say that the Lillebaby Complete is a better investment. If you don’t have a problem buying two separate carriers for infancy and then again at 4 months +, then the 360 would work just fine. However, I definitely think that the Lillebaby is the smartest investment because it’s the most bang for your buck. And it still has a ton of high-quality features that you and your little babe will love! Ergobaby vs Lillebaby? We’ll discover more below.
What is the best baby carrier for a toddler?
After our review – we’d say the Lillebaby Complete is best. As we discussed above, it fits from infancy to toddlerhood. The mesh panel material is machine washable and is a great ergonomic baby carrier. It’s even certified by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute – it provides great head support even when inward facing for long periods of time, has great sun protection, neck support and even a wide seat for your little one. As your baby’s legs become more sturdy – you can even wear it backpack style with a waist belt. Hip healthy and outward facing are always other positions it can hold 🙂
It’s definitely our favorite soft structured carrier – but you can’t go wrong with the Ergobaby 360 either!
