The Nuna EXEC is an all-in-one convertible car seat. It easily converts from rear-facing to forward-facing and eventually has a belt-positioning booster mode, making it a product that will grow with your child. How long can you use Nuna EXEC car seat?
The great thing about the Nuna EXEC all-in-one car seat is that it’s just that – all-in-one! Because it features three seating positions, it’s probably going to be the only car seat your child needs forever. You can use it from birth up until 120 pounds (typically once your child is 7 or 8 years old).
Therefore, I love the EXEC because it isn’t JUST an infant car seat – it is so versatile!
What is the difference between Nuna RAVA and Nuna EXEC?
If you’re looking for an in-depth review of the Nuna RAVA vs Nuna EXEC, read out article on it here.
However – let’s quickly touch on some of the main differences. Basically, the EXEC features the three positions – rear-facing, forward-facing, and the booster seat option. On the other hand, the RAVA only features two positions – the rear-facing and forward-facing modes. Therefore, if you’re looking for a longer lasting car seat – go with the EXEC.
We love the EXEC – it has all of the best features including multiple recline positions, an anti-rebound bar, no rethread five-point harness for accessibility, lower anchors on the first two recline angle guides, and so much leg room. Oh – and no added fire retardant chemicals making it safe for your precious cargo!
Personally, we love the merino wool “Caviar” color option – but they also have a bunch of choices. “Granite” is definitely a close second!
Does the Nuna EXEC have a base?
The Nuna EXEC does not come with a detachable base. None of the all-in-one or convertible car seat options offer this. If you’e looking for a base – check out the Nuna PIPA or the Nuna PIPA Lite.
What is the weight limit for Nuna EXEC?
The EXEC is suitable from birth up until about 120 pounds. Therefore, this is most likely going to be the only car seat your child needs for their whole life – from infancy to big kid status. Your child will eventually transition to using a vehicle seat belt with the EXEC. Which means it’s a great investment that will last you a long time! We love functionality – and the EXEC definitely has it.
