We celebrated our son’s 5th birthday this weekend and put on a really fun Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Party for him. We wanted to come up with a fun game, so we made this Ninja Turtle Party Game Idea and did a DIY Turtle Training Station!
The whole set up is really easy!
Here’s what you need:
- FloraCraft® Foam Head (at Michael’s or JoAnn’s)
- Black foam safe Spray Paint
- Material for masks
- FloraCraft Design It:® Simple Style Glitter Organza (Turquoise Glitter Dot, Silver Glitter Dot and Lt. Green Glitter Dot)
- Large wooden Popsicle sticks
- Hot Glue
How to:
I started by spray painting my foam heads black. I used three male and three female heads and the point of the game was only to knock the bad guys down.
It’s important to note that you must use FOAM SAFE spray paint. I used Design Master Brand and it worked like a charm.
After all my heads were spray painted, I added ninja masks to the male heads by cutting a long strip of fabric, cutting eye holes in them, and hot gluing onto the heads. Then I used Glitter Organza Ribbon to tie around the necks of the ladies like scarves.
Finally, I made ninja stars out of popsicle sticks. I used four sticks and hot glued the centers together to create a star. The kids threw them at the heads and tried to knock down the male heads.
I used a little tape to help the heads stay up in the wind since they kept blowing over…it didn’t prevent them from being knocked down by our ninjas in training though!
The kids really thought this was fun and played with it throughout the party! An easy party game idea that took no time at all to put together!
So there you have it! An easy Ninja Turtles Party Game Idea for you that’s sure to surprise your guests 🙂
