30 Best Mocktails
Looking for the best mocktails…aka the best tasty and festive non-alcoholic drinks? I mean, who can say no to a chilled, fizzy virgin mojito?! Therefore, we’ve got the best mocktails recipes for you below!
What are the best virgin cocktails?
There are so many amazing grown up drinks that you can create…while still being alcohol-free. Whether you’re hosting a brunch, dinner party, or even a baby shower, having a pitcher of a mocktail will satisfy everyone. Therefore, here are some of our favorite virgin cocktails, guaranteed to be a hit!
Firstly, think about incorporating a virgin Piña Colada. For instance, nothing beats Puerto Rico’s national drink on a hot summer day.
Secondly, throw it back to your childhood days and make a virgin Shirley Temple. For example – just add some ginger ale and grenadine…throw a Maraschino cherry on top and TA-DA!
Thirdly, you can’t disappoint with a virgin Margarita. You can even pour the mocktail into a wide-rimmed glass so you feel included. Plus, no hangover the next morning…what’s better than that!?
Lastly, take a spin on the Shirley Temple and try a Roy Rogers! Therefore, instead of using ginger ale or sprite, use Coca-Cola. Then, everyone will think you’re drinking some hardcore rum!
What is a good non-alcoholic drink to order?
It can be really hard when you’re out to dinner and unsure of what mocktail to order. I mean, restaurants always supply a hard alcohol cocktail list but rarely mention the mocktails that they serve. Therefore, it’s important to know your favorite mocktail drinks before heading out to eat. So, here are some of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks to order, that almost any restaurant can make.
- No Tequila Sunrise (pineapple juice, 7-up, grenadine, maraschino cherries for garnish)
- 7-Up Caribbean Cooler
- Cinderella (club soda, grenadine, lemon juice, orange juice, pineapple juice)
- Shirley Temple (sprite or ginger ale, grenadine, maraschino cherry)
- Virgin Piña Colada (frozen pineapple chunks, coconut milk, pineapple juice, fresh pineapple wedges, maraschino cherry)
- Mimosa Mocktail (fresh orange juice, grapefruit sparkling water)
Can you get drunk on mocktails?
Indulging in your favorite virgin party drink will not make you intoxicated off of alcohol. Therefore, they’re safe for pregnant women, children, and just people who aren’t drinking alike.
However, that doesn’t mean that they can’t get you sugar drunk…or that you can’t have a great time! In addition…think about it. If you’re going out to eat and ordering mocktails…your final bill is going to be significantly less than your alcohol-drinking friends! And I think that’s cause for a celebration in and of itself!
What is the difference between a mocktail and a virgin cocktail?
Essentially, a mocktail and a virgin cocktail are the same thing. They don’t contain alcohol spirits but if made correctly, can still taste as delicious as an alcoholic drink.
On the other hand, a cocktail is a drink that contains alcohol spirits.
