I feel like this time of the year is where my husband and I run around with our heads cut off carting one kid to soccer, one to baseball, and both to swim lessons. We go from the general quiet of being indoors all winter in Ohio to absolute chaos and being gone ALL night long during the spring. For my daughter in particular, being outside at baseball games and at her own soccer games really starts to stir up her allergies and we find her runny nosed, sneezing, and coughing the longer we’re outside. When I start packing up for an evening at the ball field or soccer pitch, I have ONE sports season MUST HAVE that I bring with me to keep my kids firing on all cylinders…Boogie Wipes® saline nose wipes + Boogie Mist® saline nose mist for allergy season!
Infused with natural saline, Boogie Wipes® saline nose wipes make it easier to wipe away mucus, while remaining gentle enough to comfort stuffy noses. Because saline is natural and hypoallergenic, it can soothe even the most delicate skin and reduce irritation. They’re alcohol free and made with aloe, chamomile and vitamin E. They are a gentle alternative to dry tissues and they’re the perfect thing to throw into my purse or bag and use as needed without irritating her little nose.
I also like to keep Boogie Mist® saline nose mist in the car for before and/or after games. Boogie Mist® saline nose mist is the powerful sidekick to Boogie Wipes® saline nose wipes. Boogie Mist® saline nose mist is a non-medicated sterile saline mist that works quickly inside the nasal cavity to ease congestion caused by boogers that won’t budge. It really seems to help her out after spending an evening outdoors, where she gets itchy, watery eyes and a dried out nose.
But that’s not all you need to be a successful sports mom…
Here are 5 essentials to be the best “#sportsmom” that you can be this season…
A killer chair…for long days at tournaments and 45 minute long single innings of kid pitch baseball on Monday nights (**not that I know what that’s like or anything)
A hat to cover up the fact that you haven’t had time to wash your hair in days because you’re stuck at the baseball and/or soccer fields…
A great mug for coffee…or other drinks of choice to keep your sanity and energy up.
A t-shirt to remind you and others of your real purpose in life…
A bag so you can feed your other kids when you’re still at the field nearing dark…and to store your BOOGIE WIPES!
It’s hard being a mom, but someone’s gotta do it. I make my life easier this time of the year by trying to anticipate ALL THE THINGS…including seasonal allergies, having 2-3 extra snacks on hand at all times, never leaving home without a coveted bandaid, and accepting that no matter what we do my child will have to use the potty that was a mile back from the field by the parking lot. Embrace it…someday I’m sure we’ll all miss it (at least that’s what I tell myself!).
Make your life easier this sports season…don’t leave home without your Boogie WipesⓇ saline nose wipes and Boogie MistⓇ saline nose mist!
