If you’re like me, you’re likely trying to savor these last few weeks of summer! It always goes too fast and before you know it, the kids are back in school and the weather is turning! How does it go so fast?! Today I thought I’d share with you guys a fun and simple drink idea for your late summer BBQ’s…yummy and easy Peach Lemonade!!
How to:
Country Time Lemonade canister
2 fresh peaches, peeled and diced
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
8 cups water
First off, I started by peeling and dicing up two fresh, ripe peaches. Once they were all cut up, I put them in a saucepan with my 1/2 cup water and sugar and brought to a slow boil. You may need to add more water as the peaches cook. Cook them for about 15 minutes and let boil for about 5 minutes stirring constantly. Once cooked, pour mixture into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
After your peach mixture is ready, follow the instructions on the side of the Country Time Lemonade canister–I made it with 8 cups of water and one lid full of lemonade, per the instructions.
For my dinner, I made delicious, grilled BBQ chicken with fresh corn on the cob and green beans with a side of baked beans…all fresh produce from Walmart’s produce department. Served up with fresh and delicious peach lemonade, it was an amazing dinner and the kids loved sitting outside to enjoy it!
What on your must do/must make list before summer ends this year?!!
