One of my favorite flavors happens to be peach and one of my favorite drinks is a drink my Aunt taught me to make years ago, a delicious Peach Sweet Tea adult drink. Instead of drinking it normally, I thought it would be fun to try freezing it and creating BOOZY Peach Sweet Tea Popsicles using Tradewinds Slow Brewed Peach Tea.
The recipe for these popsicles is super simple:
6 cups of Tradewinds Unsweetened Slow Brewed Tea with a hint of Peach
1 cup of sugar
1-2 cups of Peach Schnapps (to taste)
1-2 cups of Sprite/Ginger Ale/7-Up
Mix it all together in a large bowl and then use a funnel and popsicle holders to make your own boozy popsicles.
Tradewinds Slow Brewed Iced Tea is perfect for this recipe because it’s already brewed for you and there’s one less step to making these popsicles…so you can get done quickly and just allow for freeze time.
Once they’re all filled up, put them in the freezer for a few hours then serve them to your guests or store them in a safe place in the freezer (so little hands can’t easily reach and confuse them) and enjoy whenever the mood strikes.
Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Iced Tea is slow-brewed using real tea leaves and comes in 18.5 oz. or gallon sized bottles (I bought the gallons!). They come in a variety of flavors if you want to try this recipe with different tea flavors and/or Schnapps combinations!
I had plenty of Tradewinds Tea for my popsicles and also plenty left over for nights when you really just need to sit down on the back porch and unwind with a glass of fresh tea. Savor these last few weeks of summer!
