Hi! I’m Ashley from Simply Designing and I am so excited to be guest posting today at The Cards We Drew! I absolutely adore Abbey and am honored to be able to guest post on her blog today!

Pencil-Wrapped Vase {Teacher Appreciation Gift}
Supplies:
- (1) Straight-Sided Vase (mine was from The Dollar Tree and only cost $1)
- Unused Pencils
- Hot Glue Gun
- Ribbon (optional)
- School supplies, flowers, candy or other filler!
Directions:
- Using your hot glue gun, glue pencils around the entire vase.
- Tie a ribbon around the center if you like.
- Fill with desired gift (ie school supplies).
Not only is this incredibly easy to make, but is is something that your kids can help make too!
It is also fairly inexpensive and it can be customized in so many ways! I love the look of these classic yellow pencils, but you could use colored pencils, pens, markers or highlighters! Get creative!
This would be great to give with school supplies in it, but flowers or candy would be fun as well! The options are really endless and you can customize this so that your child’s teacher is sure to love it!
