It seems like forever ago I shared with you the Bathroom Shower Update at my parents’ house in northeastern Ohio and I’m excited to share with you the progress that they’ve made on their bathroom since I last showed you! My parents have been in the process of building and updating their home for a while now and my dad, who’s a contractor, has made great progress on the house. Here’s a reveal of my parents’ master bathroom update, which was an inspiration for my own master bathroom update debuting on the blog sometime this year!
The before…
The after…
What a difference huh?! My parents installed a navy blue shaker cabinet in the bathroom with marble hexagon tiles on the floors and gorgeous marble tile in the shower (from Floor and Decor).
The selected a matte granite countertop from Lowe’s and a brushed nickel shower door for the shower. They are still selecting a mirror and lighting for above the counter top (hence why you don’t see photos).
They trimmed out the bathroom with bright white trim and installed a second, smaller vanity in the dressing area of the bathroom (all that storage!).
I personally love the variation in color and tile in the shower and the large, frameless shower doors make it so classic. Everything about this bathroom is light, bright and airy, including the light bluish gray they put on the walls!
The mini hexagon tiles on the bathroom floor are one of my favorite parts of the bathroom and tie it all together.
My parents did a knock out job on this project and we got all of our tile from Floor and Decor by my house in Central Ohio. If you are seeking a tile shop with GREAT prices, a large selection and free design services, be sure to visit your local Floor and Decor.
