How can I make my home office more attractive?
Ugh, is your home office…boring? If so, don’t fret – we’ll help you out!
Firstly, think about your paint color. If your work area is feeling a bit dull – it may be time to change up your color scheme. Personally, I love using a neutral paint color and then going ham on the rest of my home office design – but it’s up to you.
Secondly, think about your home office furniture from a more functional point of view. How do you typically like to work? For instance – do you prefer to sit in a swivel chair or lounge on a sofa while doing your work?
Thirdly, make sure you have all the storage space you need incorporated into your decor ideas. Personally – I find that having a built-in office storage solution is the way to go. It keeps all of my office supplies out of the way – and I can still have some open shelving throughout my home office space!
Is farmhouse design outdated?
Almost everyday we get the question – “Is the farmhouse style outdated?”
Simply put, the answer is no. Whether it be the rustic or modern farmhouse style – the design is here to stay. These days, a more rustic style fits best in mountain homes or vacation ski homes.
However – the modern farmhouse style has taken the world by storm! It’s very popular to incorporate farmhouse home decor into your living room or create a farmhouse kitchen. Heck – some people even love to do farmhouse style dining rooms or farmhouse bedrooms. It’s totally up to you! But the point is – it’s still really in, so – that’s why we’re here to talk about our favorite farmhouse office decor.
