Patriotic DIY Tassel Garland Supplies:

Step One. Start your DIY tassel garland by laying your bandana out length wise, folded in half on top of itself on it’s fold. Then cutting long strips until about 1.5″ inches from the fold.
Step Two. Once all the cuts are made, open up your bandana and lay it in front of the with the strips facing out on the left and right. Gently start rolling up the center of the bandana until it’s all rolled together.
Step Three. After it’s rolled, fold it in half and tie it off to create the tassel.
Step Four. Make as many tassels as you want, then string them onto a long piece of twine and hang! Easy peasy!
The nice thing about this, over the paper DIY tassel garland, is that it can be stored and reused easily each fourth of July! And bandanas are a very affordable way to make these over traditional fabric too! So this patriotic DIY tassel garland is easy to make, reusable, affordable!! What could be better!?
