This weekend a few girl friends of mine stopped by and we painted some glass together over apps and desserts…I always love getting some ladies together to craft with me and use up my enormous supply of glass paint! I had this $2.99 bowl from Ikea I bought a few months ago, so I decided to turn it into a Halloween Candy Bowl for trick or treat night!
It’s SO simple to make!
What you need:
Clear Bowl
Martha Stewart Adhesive Stencils (holiday edition)
Black Glass Paint
Paint brushes
You’ll need to start by washing your bowl or dish first in warm soapy water.
Then take the Martha Stewart stencils and stencil your spiders randomly throughout the dish and follow up with little black dotted lines between them…or you could even do spiderwebs.
After the black metallic paint was dry, I went back and drew little red, green, and purple dots on their backs to add some color to the dish…which isn’t showing up too well in the photo.
After you’re done you bake your dish in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Put the dish in when the oven is cold, let it bake 30 minutes, then turn oven off and let it sit in there until completely cool. Let cure for about 72 hours before using and then you can wash on the top rack of your dishwasher.
Fourth of July is just a few weeks away, so this weekend I got kicked into red, white, and blue mode! This definitely is one of my favorite color combinations, so I really like coming up with new ideas each year and one of my FAVORITE things to make are wreathes. My husband thinks I…

I’m a little behind on my Valentine’s Day wreath making, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to come up with something fun for the big day. After all, one of my favorite colors is pink, so I had to find the most appropriate day of the year to do an all pink wreath! Although the…
I finished up another wreath this week. I feel like it’s still too early to adorn my door with my Candy Corn Wreath. I kind of made my own interpretation of a yarn wreath I found on Home Stories A2Z and I loved it. I think mine turned out really pretty, although I didn’t care…

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut for Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine. One of my favorite things to craft is things for my front door. Your front door is the one space outside where people can truly see your style and vision for your house and I love…
This is so cute!
I love it! I am addicted to glass painting!
