Indoor Patio Makeover from The Cards We Drew #AtHomeFinds #ad

If you recall, let’s look at what the space looked like BEFORE…….

BEFORE outdoor patio

We had literally just kind of dumped stuff in the room and didn’t ever use it. However, with all the windows and sunlight, we realized that we needed to make this space a top priority so we could enjoy it this summer. So we headed to At Home Store and picked up everything we needed to make the space warm and cozy!!

The room inspiration started with the fun and colorful rug. I decided to go with a coastal look and since the couch was a dark green color, I wanted to play that up, as well. So I picked up a few throw pillows, along with the wicker furniture to brighten up the space.

I also knew that I wanted a hanging chair in the room because I wanted to be able to have a really relaxing space, so I got the hanging hammock chair off of Amazon. I also had to get the curtains off of Amazon since the ones I wanted at At Home weren’t long enough for our high ceilings in the space.

At Home has a GREAT selection of home decor, so I picked up a pretty blue pot for my outdoor plant, as well as that pretty terrarium for the coffee table. I also grabbed a little blue side table for the chair and added a pretty lantern on top of it. My favorite though is the navy blue buffalo check bin…I used it to store our games and extra pillows…because with kids, every space needs specific places for storage and trinkets.

I added some succulents and a cactus to my terrarium…which I’m having a hard time keeping my kids from touching constantly! LOL

We have this great brick accent wall in the room, which is actually the back of the house before the addition was added. So I used our existing shelving to add these succulent planters I made (more on that next week), as well as other things I already had on hand from our last house. The bin at the bottom was something I already had, as well, and went perfectly with the space and held more of our kids toys and games.

So let’s take one last comparison….

I just love how it turned out and we can’t wait to finish up the room with more curtains and hanging our tv on the other side of the room. I hope you enjoyed my little makeover series and if you haven’t already been, you need to visit your local At Home store to see all the amazing goodness it has to offer! I’m willing to bet, just like me, you could easily and affordabley makeover your space all in one trip!!
