After school snacks are so hard to come up with…you want something that fills your kiddos up for a little while, but doesn’t spoil their dinner. You also want them to have a decent level of nutrition, but something that they still enjoy. I came up with this fun Peanut Butter and Jelly Dip idea, which makes the perfect after school snack for kids!
I like to make this simple recipe with my favorite Jif and Smuckers products and serve it with some graham crackers or sliced fruit! Apples do great with this kids snack too!
Recipe for the dip:
1 bar softened cream cheese
1 cup of JIF Peanut Butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup of Smuckers Strawberry Jelly
Mix together peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until thick and creamy.
Gently stir in jelly, not completely mixing in, but enough to create “swirls” in the dip.
Serve with apples or graham crackers.
I’m confident that your kids will love this snack as much as my kiddos do! Enjoy!
