Are you guys running around trying to tie up last minute teacher gifts, office Christmas parties, and more like I am? The week before Christmas is ALWAYS the busiest for me, but I also still try to wrap up my last minute gift giving! Today I wanted to share with you an easy DIY Marbled Ornament all with items and paint from Target! So while you’re finishing up your Christmas shopping at Target, you don’t have to make a separate trip to the craft store in order to give a personalized crafty gift!!
How to Make Marbled Ornaments
Supplies Needed:
Clear plastic bulbs (Target Deal Spot)
Delta Paint in Craft Aisle at Target
Optional:
Number stencils
Black Delta Paint for stenciling
How to:
This is so easy to make. You literally pull the top off of the bulb gently, then choose your Delta Ceramcoat Paints from Target (located in the craft aisle). Squirt 2-3 squirts of paint onto each side of the bulb (I like to use three paints for a nice marbled effect).
Once you have a few colors in there, replace the lid on the bulb and just start swirling and gently tapping the paint around the bulb until it’s completely covered. Then set aside.
You can mix and match paint colors to go with school colors, holiday decor and more. I wanted to make some of these and then personalize them with the year or names on them. So I took my adhesive stencils and using black paint I stenciled 2018 onto the side of one of them.
You could hand letter names on them, decorate them with stickers or puffy paint, dip them in glitter…so many options! Or just leave them as is because they are gorgeous on their own.
So there you have it, easy DIY Marbled Ornaments to wrap up your week before Christmas crafting.
Have a safe and happy holiday!!
