A few months ago I was working on my Mod Podge Ribbon Vase for the holidays and my mom came along to the craft store with me looking for some Christmas inspiration and crafting ideas. She picked up a simple clear vase and some fillers, along with some pretty, glittery leaves that were on vines and we headed home to get our craft on. This is a simple way to make an Easy Christmas Vase for the holidays without having an arsenal of crafting supplies at your finger tips.
What You Need:
Clear Vase
Fake Leaves (from the floral section)
Gold Glass paint
Hot Glue
Vase Filler
Directions:
1. My mom started by snipping the leaves off of her vines and carefully positioning and gluing them onto her clear vase. If you mess up, have no fear, you can pull them off and try again.
2. Once all your leaves are positioned, we used a glass paint writer to draw little vines between them, starting at the bottom and going up. This is where you can get creative, get twirly, have some fun!
3. Let your paint dry and then fill your vase with your filler of choice. My mom picked up some glittered pinecones and another beaded filler and kind of wound it up the inside of the vase.
She now has a simple, pretty and easy Christmas vase for her home that she can say is handmade! This would make a great gift idea too! So sotp by your craft store and get brainstorming on how you can personalize your Christmas decor with just a little thought and effort! Enjoy!
