Chocolate Chip Brownie Cups

I LOVE a good dessert recipe and lately I’ve been trying out new ways to take a simple dessert and jazz it up! Today I’m showing you how to turn two simple store bought ideas and merge them into a homemade dessert that will make your guests think you slaved for hours!! These Chocolate Chip Brownie Cups are a creative spin on the homemade!!

The recipe is very simple:

1 roll of store bought chocolate chip cookie dough

1 box of brownie mix with all necessary ingredients

1 bag of DOVE® Fruit Cherries

1 can icing or homemade icing

How to:

Start by lining  a cupcake tin with cupcake liners, then slicing 1/2 inch of cookie dough into the bottoms of the cups. Bake them at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and begin making your brownie mix while they  bake.

Pull them out of the oven after 10 minutes and scoops 1.5 to 2 teaspoons of brownie mix into each cupcake holder. Bake for another 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  1. I love this idea for mixing up chocolate chip cookies and brownies! What a fun idea! I’m going to have to try this with the DOVE® Fruit for my next party! #client

    1. I actually did use about 2 teaspoons to be honest…you can fill them up as you see fit, but the cookie cups fill up a bunch and there isn’t a ton of space left for the brownie without it completely overflowing. If you make them, you’ll see what I mean. 🙂 I didn’t use an exact amount though.
