Do you have a kiddo in the Columbus, Ohio area looking for a unique, one of a kind birthday party? Well, my son turned 10 this past fall and we wanted to take his friends someplace fun and new where they’d never been before…so we headed to Urban Air in Columbus to spend an afternoon doing all the fun things they have to offer!! The boys all walked in and did a general “WHHHHOOOOOAAA” when we entered! The space has so much to offer including Virtual Reality games, trampolines, a ninja course, climbing walls, a ropes course, an indoor tubes playground and more!! I wanted to show you why we, hands down, think that Urban Air is the best birthday party place for kids in Central Ohio.
Birthday Parties in Columbus, OH
From the moment that you walk into the place, the lighting is fun, the music is upbeat, and your kids will try to jet off in 20 different directions to do all the things! We really loved the setup and that they have the Urban Cafe in the center with really tasty food!! They setup a whole reserved table area for my son’s party and took care of all the details from the moment that we arrived.
The kids jetted off to play and once our pizzas were ready they paged the kids over the loud speaker to head back to their table to enjoy some food and drinks.
The pizza was REALLY tasty and we had more than enough for the kids and some to go home for later at the sleepover too when they all inevitably got hungry again (#boys!).
But let’s talk about all the fun activities that Urban Air has to offer because that’s really the best part of the whole place….
Ninja Course
Their Ninja Course was a fan favorite with our group of kiddos. They have different levels of difficulty and if you fall, you fall into a beautiful glowing pit of plastic balls. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed this as much as the 9-10 year old boys did!
Ropes Course
The next isn’t for the faint of heart…above some of the tables reserved for parties and food is a ropes course that your kiddos can enjoy. They get hooked in securely and navigate the course with their friends and at their own pace.
Tubes Playground
My daughter, the youngest in our group, loved playing in the indoor tubes playground with their slides and all the things to crawl around in and explore!!
Climbing Walls
My youngest also really enjoyed the climbing area where she was able to show how brave she was!!!
Trampoline Dodgeball
The boys spent a TON of time in the Dodgeball area…it’s all done on trampolines and the boys were super sweaty and worn out after playing for hours!!
And of course…there are another half dozen things the kids enjoyed while we visited including a Virtual Reality game (I tried this out and it was super fun) and a variety of trampoline attractions!!
We spent over 3 hours at Urban Air and when we told the boys it was time to leave, they still weren’t ready!! They were sweaty and exhausted, but weren’t bored even in the slightest! That to me is the sign of a good party when after three hours of play time, they still are enthusiastic!!
We had such a good time at the Reynoldsburg Urban Air location and we just found out that they are opening one in Dublin soon too (yay!). If you are looking for an AWESOME Birthday Party location in Columbus, OH or surrounding areas, then Urban Air is a definite must visit!
