Halloween is absolutely one of my FAVORITE holidays and to celebrate I pulled together the creative minds of some of my talented blogging friends to bring you over 110 fabulous Halloween ideas! From costumes to parties, crafts and home decor, recipes and free printables, we have so many fun ideas to share! I guarantee you’ll find a project (or 10!) that you would love to incorporate into your Halloween festivities. All week (Monday through Saturday) myself and my blogging friends will be sharing our fun creations with all of you. Each day will include approximately 20 Halloween projects and you can “hop” from one blog to another to check them all out.
Today I’m showing you how I made this easy Embroidery Hoop Spider Web Decoration!! It’s super fun and easy!!
This project takes no time at all…here’s what you need:
- Embroidery Hoops
- Spider Webbing (Target Dollar Section)
- Faux Spider (Target Dollar Section)
- Martha Stewart Web Punch
- Thickers Gold Letters
- Thread or twine for hanging web bunting
- Scissors to trim web
- Hot Glue/gun
I started out by stretching a little spider webbing between my embroidery hoops and then clamping the hoops together and trimming off the excess.
After that I got to making my Spiderweb Halloween Mini Bunting…I used a Martha Stewart Web Punch for the mini webs and Thicker Gold Stickers for the wording
I used twine to string the whole thing together…although, it sticks pretty well to the web on it’s own.
After the bunting is strung, I adhered my faux spider to the hoop using hot glue. The spider was purchased for $1 in last year’s Target Dollar section…so was the web.
Once the spider is adhered let it dry and then sit back and enjoy your creation!!
