They’re also the more durable option of the two (I find that their rubber sole is longer lasting) and the cushioning is a bit better. Converse is definitely the more durable option out of the two. They have better arch support and a bit more cushioning than Van shoes. Both are fairly long-lasting, but I’ve found my pairs of Converse to last for years while Vans typically last a year or two.

Moreover, Vans also have thinner insoles which can hurt your feet when you’re wearing them everyday or walking from place to place.
