These last few weeks you’ve seen me sharing some amazing VELVEETA® recipes like my Cheeseburger Dip, the Beef Frank and VELVEETA® Crescent Rollups, as well as my English Muffin Breakfast Pizzas. Today I’m featuring another tasty VELVEETA® post that’s easy to make and is delicious to snack on– BBQ Chicken and VELVEETA® Appetizer Cups.
1/2 lb shredded BBQ chicken
1 bottle BBQ sauce for chicken (included above)
1 can crescent rolls
1 8-oz brick of VELVEETA®
1. Start by preparing your shredded BBQ chicken. I put three chicken breasts in a crockpot on low for 7 hours with BBQ sauce, then shredded. Add more BBQ sauce as needed.
2. Open a can of crescent rolls and cut rolls into squares. Grease mini muffin pan and place squares into mini muffin pan and preheat oven according to instructions on can.
3. Add a small chunk of VELVEETA® to the bottom of the crescent roll square, then add a small 1/2-1 tsp of chicken. Top with another small piece of VELVEETA®, then place in the oven for 10 minutes until golden brown.
Allow to cool a few minutes before removing from the pan. Each recipe makes 12-15 appetizer cups, which is 8 servings.
