Burlap Lace Wreath
I have long mentioned that my biggest problem with decorating my house is that I cannot make any choices on what I want. I think and think and think, but never commit. Then when I finally do commit, I second guess myself and wish I would have gone with a different option. This can make decorating very hard because inevitably, I never get my house to where I want it due to my indecisiveness. For example, I’ve been long searching for ideas for a wreath to go in our Master Bathroom. I love burlap and lace together, so I finally made the decision this week to get one going. I went out and bought a wreath form, 2 yards of burlap, 2 yards of pretty lace, and some fabric scraps that I liked well enough for rosettes. I went round and round trying to decide on what to do with the burlap and what look I wanted to go for…because there are so many choices. But in the end, I went a simple route and just wrapped my wreath form with burlap, then spaced out the lace and added a few rosettes to complete the deal. I didn’t use anywhere near 2 yards of burlap, but that’s fine because I have many other projects to use it for. Here’s my wreath (not hung up just yet) against our bathroom wall color.

Once I get the rest of that bathroom wall completed, I’ll do a before and after picture of the bathroom 🙂

This wreath is super cute! I’m having the same dilemma! I found a bunch of burlap @ Hobby Lobby on sale, bought it, but it’s just been sitting there! I have no clue what I want to use it for. I may just have to copy cat & do a wreath!
