Stocking Advent Calendar

I’ve been SUPER busy this week working on Christmas projects! Here’s one I had to work up on a deadline seeing as how it’s an advent calendar! The original plan for the advent calendar was to go up my stairwell upstairs, but once I made it it became quickly apparent that it was too long for that space, so I had to improvise. Anyways, check out my advent calendar!

You Need:
24 stockings (.75 at the dollar store)
Glue gun
Glue Dots
Scrapbook paper
Advent Countdown tags from Clean Mama
24 clothes pins
Candy to fill the stockings
Paper punches (scalloped and regular circle)
Long strand of ribbon
Something to hang the strand

I printed off the Clean Mama tags and used my 2″ circle punch to cut them out. Then I used my XL scalloped punch to cut out the scrapbook paper. After that, I used my glue dots to adhere the tags together and then I glue gunned them onto my clothes pins. I used a long strand of red ribbon I had from last Christmas and hung the tags and the stockings, with candy on them, along the strand of ribbon. Then I hung the whole thing over an open space in our kitchen above the fridge. This was basically the only place I could think of, but definitely not ideal.

My little man, who I made this for, doesn’t seem to mind it at all 😉
 WHOA!
What do you think?? Next up this week, two poinsettia wreathes and a snowman card holder!
Stay tuned!
