Pretty in Pink Valentine’s Wreath

I’m a little behind on my Valentine’s Day wreath making, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to come up with something fun for the big day. After all, one of my favorite colors is pink, so I had to find the most appropriate day of the year to do an all pink wreath! Although the photos make it look peach (poor night lighting during photography) it really is a light pink color.

I tried using a different wreath form this time because I’m getting a little stuck on wreathes wrapped in yarn or burlap, so this time I got a different foam wreath that’s not rounded and I wrapped it in white fabric and used pretty pink push pins to secure everything down.

What You Need:
Wreath form
White Fabric
Decorative Push Pins
Felt
Additional Valentine’s décor of your choice

How to make it….
I started by cutting long narrow strips of white fabric. I don’t recall the exact dimensions, but it was probably about 2 feet long by 4 inches wide. I then folded it length wise and began wrapping my wreath, covering up the cut edges. I secured it all down with push pins.

From there I added pretty little felt rose flowers, a Valentine’s heart from JoAnn’s, and some little hearts from Michael’s. I didn’t make a tutorial on the rose flower because another blog has really great instructions on it—I can’t remember the original blog I saw it on, but there are lots of suggestions on Pinterest and on the link above too.

This wreath was super easy to make and shhhhh don’t tell I didn’t even use any hot glue on it!!

So what do you think? Super simple and easy to make and so fun and cute…may be one of my favorites yet! My hubby keeps asking me where we are going to store all these wreathes…LOL. Here’s some photos on my front door where you can see the colors better:
