Happy January! I’m back this month with 11 other blogging friends for a dose of Organizing and Cleaning Ideas! I’ll show you my idea first, then you can hop around to the other blogs below in the collage to find more inspiration! AND at the bottom of this post you can enter to win a Life Planner from ErinCondren.com as a way to help you get organized in 2014! As you know, I’m about 6 weeks out from having my little girl, so we’re in full nursery finishing mode around my house and today I’m sharing how I’m organizing all the cute baby clothes in her closet with an easy girl’s nursery closet organizer printable!

Girl's Nursery Closet Label Set from The Cards We Drew-- hot air balloon themed

Here’s what you need for this simple project:

Wooden 4 1/2 x 6 plaques from JoAnn’s (in the wood aisle)

Paint/Paintbrush

Ribbon

Printables

Scissors/Glue or Mod Podge

The How To:

1. Start by downloading your printables and printing them off. They are formatted to 4 1/2 x 6 size to go with the wooden plaques I purchased, which were 75 cents each. I bought 5 of them to separate newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and 12 month clothes. I figure after that I’ll re-do them to 2T, 3T, and 4T.

2. Paint the back side of your plaque with a color of your choice. I chose a light pink.

3. Trace your wooden plaque onto your printable and cut out as needed. My corners were rounded, so I had to adjust. Cut out the prints to fit the plaque.

Trace and Cut out your prints4. Here’s where you can decide…you can either glue the paper on, mod podge the paper on, or laminate the paper and then glue on with a glue stick. I glued  them on because mod podge wasn’t working with my light cardstock paper and I ran out of my laminating paper.

Adhere your labels onto your plaques5. Cut some pieces of ribbon, hot glue onto the back, and tie ribbon over your closet bar.

3 month closet labels6. Organize your clothes and make it easy to find everything!

{oh and p.s. is this NOT the cutest outfit EVER pictured above?? I can’t wait to get her into that!}

That’s it!

My nursery is going to have lots of bright pinks, yellows, teals, and blues, so I wanted a bright closet to make everything pop. My full nursery reveal is coming soon to the blog!!

    Six weeks! Eek! I’m about 4 months from having my baby girl and I can’t wait to start on her nursery. However, my sons are currently in that room. Therefore, we’re redoing their playroom to become their room before we do the nursery. It’s going to be busy, busy time for us. I really love this closet organization idea though! I definitely have to do it with my baby girl’s closet.
