Andrew’s Baseball Birthday Bash- Texas

I ordered these invitations from a vendor on Ebay. They looked like little ticket with the Row and the Seat numbers being Andrew’s actual birth date. Not sure if anyone caught that or not.

I ordered a bunch of party favors off Oriental Trading for the kids goody bags. Too bad all my pictures got screwed up with these lines through them. Anyone know why this happens? Either way, I got these cute pencils for really cheap that read “Happy 1st Birthday Andrew” and then ordered little pennant pencil toppers to add some extra flare. 

This is a shot of the stuff in the goody bags for the kids. I got the pencils, pennant toppers, bubbles, #1 foam finger, Big League Chew, Cracker Jacks, Baby Ruth, and a blow up Super Bat.

I also ordered 3 dozen baseball cookies for adult favors, as well. They had little homemade tags on them that read “Thank you for celebrating Andrew’s rookie year”

The cookies and cake were ordered from Harper’s Blue Bonnet Bakery in Fort Worth, Texas. 

I will add that the cake was supposed to be A LOT more detailed and we had it out a bit with the bakery, but overall it was still cute. 

Here’s a picture of his little smash cake. They did a really nice job on it and he literally ate the whole thing. He was comatose by the end of the night.

 I ordered a PDF file from Dimple Prints  on Etsy. She originally did her child’s birthday party in a baseball theme and turned it into a PDF file for me to print, cut out, and use. So I really can’t take credit for any of the decorations other than that I downloaded them, printed, cut, and strung them up on ribbons. I might add that is VERY labor intensive, but so worthwhile to make a real ballpark!

 Silverware was all wrapped in baseball stripes and put into tubs that I purchased for $2 apiece at Target.

 The concessions area was set up in the kitchen. We served Hot Dogs, Meatball Sandwiches, Pasta, Soft Pretzels, Bags of Popcorn, Chips, Nachos, soda, Cracker Jacks and more…

 We set up the tables on Aunt Audrey’s back porch. We got lots of balloons, streamers, and kept a red, white and blue theme to make it as patriotic and ballpark-esk as possible.

 A baseball was set out for all the guests to sign for Andrew to have when he gets older to remember his very special day.

 I (and by I, I mean my mom) got nacho trays from Hallo’s Paper store in Medina

 We had popcorn bags for the popcorn

 Hot Dog wrappers for the dogs

 And everyone LOVED the meatballs, that I bought frozen 🙂

 How stinking cute is that shirt?! I wanted one of those old school baseball type t-shirts and Suzanne at Piccadilly came through for me. It had an “a” on the front and a “1” on the back.
