Fall Inspired Tablescape

Truth be told…fall is HANDS DOWN my favorite time of the year. I love the fall tones of mustard, amber, and merlot more than any other color palette. It just feels warm and homey and makes me want to curl up on the couch with a blanket, some wine, and a good book.

This week I had the chance to visit World Market and set up a Fall Themed tablescape for my house, which was PERFECT because I’m hosting Thanksgiving for the first time for my family this year…so this got me in the groove to get my place settings all ready to go!

Do you guys shop at World Market? It’s seriously one of the favorite places. They have everything!! Their decor is amazing. They have interesting foods, beers, sweet treats…and SO much stuff I could find something(s) for every room in my house from there.

They have an amazing collection of plates, dishes, and glassware that makes it REALLY hard to decide on what you want! And it’s all good quality and very affordable, which is a plus to my pocket (then I can buy MORE!).

These plates were absolutely STUNNING! I was SO close to getting these, but they were off white and all my platters that I already own are white, so I opted out (I’m still bummed).
The other thing I really liked while shopping was their placemat and linens section. They had everything laid out so well and organized and the options were just amazing! It took me forever to decide!

Honestly, I spent over two hours there on Friday trying desperately to decide what stuff I wanted to use for this project. I couldn’t decide because there were SO many options! Ah…but I finally made my decision with some items that matched my home and kitchen area perfectly….

The colors in my kitchen already accent this tablescape so well, so I was able to shop my own home for extra accents for this table. The flower centerpiece was from two vases, some Indian corn husks, and hydrangeas I had in my front garden. The little bird and other table accents were also shopped from my own home.

The white plates are from World Market’s Coupe Dinnerwear collection. I just loved the crisp white look that will go with any theme and mixed up with different patterns and textures.

The table runner is the Avani Reversible Runner from World Market. I loved the colors and the grey accent it brought into the color scheme and it’s reversible so you get two options in one purchase!

Under the Coupe Dinner Plates are really gorgeous Copper Embossed Leaf Chargers that World Market had for $2.99 each. There are a gorgeous! I thought they were the PERFECT accent for my table at a perfect price!

I wanted to bring in some sparkly glitter to fancy up my table a bit…so I got this pretty copper sparkly ribbon from Michael’s to add to my place settings and my centerpiece. Every table needs a little sparkle!

I opted to go with a simple napkin for my place setting…I figure I can use it for Christmas and other holiday occasions.

As you can see…my rug even goes well with my place setting, which is always a plus. Now before that Thanksgiving meal I just need to find a new kitchen table that will seat us all! I think I know where to go… :)
You know what’s even MORE fun…World Market is teaming up with HGTV for a Passport to Style Sweepstakes!
