Start by cleaning your apples, then using an apple slicer to cut them. Place the apple slicer on top of a medium sized piece of aluminum foil before cutting, then pull the core out and wrap the foil tightly around the apple...only leaving an opening at the top.
Next, slice a small piece of butter off a stick, then slice it in half and place down the center of the apple. Then pack in about 1 tablespoon (more or less) of brown sugar down the center of the apple. Finally top with a sprinkling of cinnamon on top, then close up the foil.
Place directly on the grill and cook for about 20-30 minutes. You may need to open up the foil and check to see how crisp they are and adjust your time accordingly.
After they are cooked, pull them off the grill and dump them into a bowl with all the juices, top with ice cream and even caramel and enjoy!!
