Easy Grilled Apples

Equipment

  • Grill

Ingredients

  • apples with core removed
  • 1 slice butter, cut in half length wise
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • sprinkling of cinnamon
  • ice cream
  • aluminum foil

Instructions

  • Start by cleaning your apples, then using an apple slicer to cut them. Place the apple slicer on top of a medium sized piece of aluminum foil before cutting, then pull the core out and wrap the foil tightly around the apple...only leaving an opening at the top.
  • Next, slice a small piece of butter off a stick, then slice it in half and place down the center of the apple. Then pack in about 1 tablespoon (more or less) of brown sugar down the center of the apple. Finally top with a sprinkling of cinnamon on top, then close up the foil.
  • Place directly on the grill and cook for about 20-30 minutes. You may need to open up the foil and check to see how crisp they are and adjust your time accordingly.
  • After they are cooked, pull them off the grill and dump them into a bowl with all the juices, top with ice cream and even caramel and enjoy!!
