Start with oiling a cast iron skillet and spreading one store bought pie crust evenly across the bottom and up the sides.
Add one can of cherry pie filling and spread around pie crust.
Take your second pie crust and use a star shaped cookie cutter to cut out pieces.
Spread the star shaped pie crusts on top of the pie filling and then place on the grill. Lightly brush the star shapes with an egg wash to ensure that they do not burn.
Cook on the grill for about 20 minutes, checking every 5 minutes or so. Once you see the pie crust on the sides starting to brown, it's likely done.
Slice and serve with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream! Enjoy!
