Dr Pepper BBQ Smoked Sausage


  • 12 oz Dr Pepper Soda
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


  • Whisk all BBQ sauce ingredients together in a bowl and bring sauce to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer sauce for 20 minutes or until thickened.
    In a separate skillet, add sliced Eckrich sausage with a little olive oil and brown lightly.
    Once sauce is thickened add sausage is cooked, combine the two into a small crockpot and put temperature on low. Serve with toothpicks or set out slider buns to make mini sandwiches.
