Swedish Meatballs and Noodles


  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 can Campbell's Chicken with Rice soup
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion optional
  • 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • noodles to serve over


  • Mix together ground beef, chicken and rice soup, onions, bread crumbs, salt and pepper and form into balls (not too big).
  • Bake meatballs in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. 
  • In a saucepan, combine cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream and salt and pepper and bring to a boil. 
  • Serve meatballs with gravy immediately OR pour gravy into a crockpot and add the meatballs in and let simmer for 2-3 hours on low. Then serve over noodles or rice.
