Hi everyone! I’m Christy and I blog at Confessions of a Serial Do-it-Yourselfer. I am so excited to be guest posting for Abbey today so she can squeeze in a few more days with her bundle of cuteness.
Today I’m sharing a sweet table I redid for my last show. I found it at an estate sale last summer. The house I found it at looked like time had stood still and nothing had been touched in several decades. You seriously could have put up velvet ropes at each door way and called it a museum! It creeped my mom out, but I was mesmerized.
Here it is in all it’s dusty glory:
I painted it with my DIY chalk paint and found a French graphic from The Graphics Fairy for the top.
I transferred the graphics using this method and painted them in with acrylic paint.
I love the scalloped edge detail.
Here’s a little preview of what I like to share:
I love to share fun crafts…
And easy sewing tutorials…

Of course, I love to makeover all sorts of furniture pieces…
I even like to share how I build things…

I have this same table and had not decided if I wanted to paint it because I love the patina and I have tons of painted furniture pieces, but you table is starting to tip the scales. Beautiful job.
Beautiful makeover on the scalloped table – lov’n the Frenchiness!
Congratulations Abbey on your new arrival!
Thank you!
