Happy post-Easter Monday, friends! I don’t know about you guys, but we had a beautiful weekend here and we spent the majority of it outside working on things about the house. We got a ton of items crossed off our to do list, plus plenty of R&R. My kids, 3 and 7, are starting to really show an interest in helping out around the house and our 7 year old specifically is always looking for ways to earn a buck or two for his piggy bank. Today I wanted to share with you an easy idea for chores for children with this easy car cleaning kit for kids with Armor All Wipes!!
I picked up these Armor All Wash Wipes, Ultra Shine Wax Wipes, and Tire and Trim Shine from Walmart in the Automotive Department because I finally found an easy way for my kids to help out without requiring me to spend tons of time helping them too…because what sense does it make to give them chores if it turns into a chore for you too!? This 1, 2, 3 step system to be used anytime, anywhere.
They are pre-moistened and treated, so you need NOTHING else to clean the outside of your car. My kids actually fought over who got to use what. We settled on my son, the oldest, starting with the Wash Wipes. My daughter, 3, used the Tire Trim and Shine, and I followed up with the Wax Wipes.
These wipes are so easy and convenient to use, you pull them out of their resealable pouch and just GO!
Right now I encourage you to take advantage of the $2.00 off any one (1) of the Armor All Ultra Shine Wipes from Walmart in the Automotive Department, while supplies last! These wipes are perfect for a quick clean up or to teach your kids to help out with chores and incentives with the upcoming summer break coming soon!
And in case you needed photographic evidence…look at the sheen on our car after our little project!
So bust out a little crate, put some kid friendly cleaning items inside, and get your kids to work helping out with chores and responsibilities this summer. We pay our son $1 for select chores like this and sometimes up to $5 depending on how much he helps. And now that he’s old enough to help, it really does cut down on the amount of work we have to do too! Win – win!
