It’s blog hop time this month! So check out my tutorial below and then scroll all the way down to see all my blogging friends’ ideas! I love sharing Easter treats and this one is not only pretty, but it’s a perfect treat to make with your kids as a new way to “decorate” Easter eggs! My Chocolate Easter Egg Bark is so easy and you can make it as pretty and colorful as you like and you only need ONE ingredient in THREE colors!
All you need for your bark is white chocolate melts, pink chocolate melts, and yellow chocolate melts—or your variety of colors desired. You’ll also need wax paper and something to use to apply the chocolate.
To get the right sized eggs, I traced an egg cookie cutter onto wax paper and then placed the “marker” side of the paper down into my pan so I could trace it with the melted chocolate.
Easy, right?!
Once my chocolate was melted, I poured it into little contained and traced/decorated each of my eggs with the colors and patterns that I desired. Then I placed it in the refrigerator to cool off.
Once it’s cooled, you want to melt your white chocolate and carefully pour it over the eggs. Be quick to cover your designs as they will become soft again with the warm chocolate. Then gently smooth out the top of the chocolate, careful not to disturb the designs below it. Then place back in the fridge again to cool.
Once cooled I lifted the wax paper and flipped it over to reveal my design! From there I chopped it into pieces and put on a serving plate. There are TONS of other ways to make these…add candy, add more color, add pretzels, add anything you like to personalize it!
So cute, right?! And I have tons of other Easter dessert ideas on the blog to check out too, so take a look around! And today…I have my awesome blogging friends doing our monthly blog hop, so pop by their sites below if you see an idea you want to know more about!
