I’ve had the same wreath on my front door since early spring (*gasp!*), so recently when I received a box full of Recollections “Big Bloom” Flowers on my front door step, I knew just what to do with them!! These flowers are huge, bright, and make a bold statement!! You put them together yourself using either double sided tape or hot glue and they look SO great in so many spaces!! Check out my Big Bloom Front Door today!!
Each package comes with a base to attach all your petals to, then large, medium, small and extra small petals. You start on the outside and work your way in. Then you finish it off with the inside of the flower, which is the glittery center you see in the photos.
The flowers take about 15 minutes each to make…depending on how detailed you get. Once you’re down, you can bend or roll the petals out a bit to create a more ruffled look.
They fit nicely between my front door and storm door (yes, my storm door protects them from the elements). I think they are quite the statement piece in the neighborhood and compliment my Wythe Blue front door nicely.
Wouldn’t these look so pretty as a centerpiece on a table or as a bridal shower decoration? What about for a baby’s nursery or a craft room even?! How many places can you think of to use these flowers?! I’m in love with them and love the color combos!!
Flowers in general just make me happy and these are no exception!! Check out Big Blooms at Michaels if you’re in the market to add some fun and whimsy to your home, party, or event!! The Big Bloom kit includes everything you need to create large paper flowers with each box including petal and center pieces, as well as adhesive. You can also find them in a wide variety of colors and sizes that are easy to use and put together quickly!! Get creative with Big Blooms.
See what my other blogging friends did with them too!!
