Some of my son’s favorite things to do during summertime is to play in the sprinkler and go swimming. We like to get together with a few kids and make a day of treats and fun in the sun!! Today I’m going to share with you a few easy ways to put together a blue Under the Sea Party complete with activities, food, and decor…and in a few weeks you’ll see the simple party I threw for my kiddos and their friends!!
First off, I think it would be SO fun to make this Easy Kids Craft of Under the Sea creatures from Blooming Homestead! They are fun, sparkly, and blue (the themed color of the party!). They could either be make and takes for the kids or they could be made ahead of time and used a place cards and little favors.
If you want to send the kids home with some sort of craft or favor, you can have them make this awesome Ocean Play Dough from Kids Activities Blog! With a gorgeous deep blue color and pretty seashells spread throughout, it’s the perfect DIY project or favor idea for an Under the Sea Party!!
Another fun idea for the party, which would look great under my umbrella on my deck, is to take paper lanterns and hang ribbons or crepe paper from the bottom to create paper lantern jelly fish!! I love this idea from HWTM.
Finally, for the grand finale of the party, I’d create this showstopper Fish Bowl Fun Recipe from Kraft using JELL-O gelatin!
Now that I have some fun ideas for my party, next up on the list is actually putting my party together soon and enjoying the outdoors and fun in the sun with my kids! Stay tuned for the finished product!
Thanks to JELLO brand for allowing me to partner with them to create an Under the Sea party! I had a blast, and I can’t wait for the party! Already planning to try this at home with your little ones? I’d love to hear how it goes in thecomments below. For more inspiration visit: http://jello.com
