Even with summer here, weeknights are still as busy as ever. I think we moms and dads can all understand and very much appreciate those nights where you roll into your house at 7:30 p.m. and are rushing to feed your family dinner! Most of the time those nights end up being nights where maybe we don’t eat the best, most fresh options. Recently I discovered a Fazoli’s® near my children’s swimming lesson center and we now have a new post-swim, Monday night dinner tradition that helps with more meal ideas for busy weeknights that are free of artificial ingredients with a fun, authentic take on natural, Italia food. My kids love their kid’s meals, I devour their breadsticks, and my husband loves their Chicken Fettuccini!
The best part of Fazoli’s, for me at least, is the fact that we can get ALL that Fazoli’s has to offer through a drive thru. Moms, you know the stress that rushing through a busy weeknight brings…so nothing makes me crazier than getting my kids out of a sport or class, putting them in the car, only to get back out of the car and go in somewhere else to get food. It’s time consuming, frustrating, and I just want to get home. I like that Fazoli’s recently changed their menu so now it’s completely clean of all artificial sweeteners, flavors, preservatives, and colors…and it’s convenient.
You can now get a break from ordinary fast food and enjoy a real Italian dining experience, but without spending a fortune. For example, last week after swim lessons I swung through Fazoli’s and picked up two kids meals for my kids: my daughter got the pizza meal and my son got spaghetti. I got their delicious baked ziti and my husband got their amazing Chicken Fettuccini. I grabbed three salads (my kids split one) and of course, we all came home with a piece of delicious strawberry cheesecake.
And of course, each meal comes with two breadsticks…ohhhh, those breadsticks…you guys, they are to die for–I’d suggest ordering a few extra because you’re likely to have a fight to the finish for those!
So now, at least one night a week I can safely say that I’m relieved of kitchen duty and the family isn’t sitting at 8:30 asking me what’s for dinner. And I feel good to know that if we have to eat out, at least it’s quality, clean food that we all enjoy.
Want to try Fazoli’s for yourself? Right now you can get $3 off $10 or more by visiting HERE. And of course….don’t forget dessert! 🙂
