Last week my baby boy graduated from preschool…it was pretty adorable to see all the kids dressed up in their little caps and gowns and walk down the aisle to receive their “diplomas.” My son proudly declared at graduation that when he wants to grow up he wants to be a “Flying Monkey Superhero,” so needless to say, his dad and I are extremely proud! LOL!! To celebrate graduation in our house, and in your house too, you can celebrate with these awesomely easy Share a Coke Class of 2015 Bottles! Turn your Coke bottle into a Graduation Coke Bottle in just a few easy steps!!
All you need for this post is to stop by Giant Eagle and pick up a Share a Coke bottle of your choice! They have name bottles, sayings, graduation bottles, grillmaster bottles, love bottles, #1, and many many many more!! There are over a 1,000 to choose from!! Find your graduates name, for example, and make some bottles with that! Find Class of 2015 like I did…or #1. Once you get your bottles, then you just need some stiff black felt, yellow felt, hot glue, and scissors!!
Start by cutting a small strip to wrap around the lid of the bottle. Hot glue it into place. Next, cut a small square and got glue it on top. Finally, I cut little tassels with yellow felt and put a small dab of hot glue on top of the cap to top the whole thing off!
After it’s in place, set it out for guests to enjoy!!
I liked to serve mine with some yellow and black striped paper straws and enjoyed with our “graduation” dinner after my son’s ceremony last week!
This turned out to be a super simple and easy Graduation Drink Idea that anyone can make or give as a gift! Make it extra personal by getting a special Share a Coke at Giant Eagle and surprising your grad with a personalized touch for their party!! Enjoy and congrats to all the grads out there!!
How are you preparing for graduation day or celebrating a grad in your life!?
My daughter graduated from PreK last week, too! It is so bittersweet, isn’t it? I can’t believe I will be mom to a kindergartener next year! These grad caps are absolutely adorable – what a great way to dress up your Coke bottles! #client
