I’m so happy today to be part of a fun Blog Hop and Giveaway with 9 other fabulous DIY and Craft Bloggers! We all teamed up to share a different back to school project with our readers AND then enter to win a $200 gift card to JoAnn’s or Home Depot! Your choice!
Here’s what I made!
This was such an easy project to make and cost next to nothing (also because I already had the stuff to make it on hand). I experienced a huge craft fail with my original back to school project idea, so I decided to make an After School Snack Etched Glass plate.
Basically, I used a clear glass plate and my Silhouette to cut out my apple and After School Snack cutout on vinyl.
Then I applied the vinyl to my plate and used Martha Stewart Glass Etching Cream to apply it to the plate. With etching cream, you leave the cream on the plate for about 15 minutes and then wash it off and it leaves the etched glass!
I think it turned out cute and is a fun little plate for my son to look for after school snacks on!
