Minted Birth Announcements and $75 Giveaway

minted birth announcement

My little girl will be two months old on Monday! Time has flown and just a few weeks ago I finally took her photos and ordered her birthday announcements from Minted. If you've never shopped at Minted before, you're in for a treat. They have THOUSANDS of invitations and announcements to choose from! For my daughter's birth announcement, I wanted something very sweet and pretty like I think she is...so I chose this Mint Flower Announcement and customized it. The cool thing about Minted is that you can customize the wording of your invitations or announcements, as well as the shapes, the photos, the envelopes and more! I wanted the invitation … [Read more...]

Gold Arrow Easter Eggs

gold arrow easter eggs 2 edited

If you need a quick and easy and TRENDY Easter Egg idea...I have it for you. I thought it would be fun to make gold arrow Easter eggs as a quick and easy Easter idea that's very on trend with the gold metallics that are so popular right now, as well as the arrow themes that people really like too! These eggs are easy to make. Take basic plastic Easter eggs...I used some I already had at home from last year. From there, I used my cutting machine to cut out a variety of arrows on vinyl. You could also cut them out yourself or buy stickers. After the vinyl is applied, I used a can of gold spray paint and gently sprayed all my eggs. You'll … [Read more...]

Add a little flair to your home with Havertys

With spring making an appearance finally, I was just talking to my mom about how I really want to spruce things up a bit in my home. If you haven't noticed on my blog, I'm not one to change things up a lot seasonally...I've always just kind of found a look I like and leave the room that way most of the year, except for during Christmas. We've been in this house for four years now and once I got my living room styled, it's stayed that way for years. And now...now, I'm ready to mix things up. Since new furniture isn't in the budget, I figure I'll change things up easily with new throw pillows, some updated lamps other than the ones we've had … [Read more...]

Green Chile Macaroni and Cheese + $50 Meijer Giveaway!

All You Magazine Jalapeno Mac n Cheese

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and All You Magazine, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #lifeforless http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV. I'm not gonna lie...I have a HARD time finding ways to mix meal time up. Our family has it's staple dinners that include spaghetti (easy peasy), tacos (even easier), rigatoni (wait, how is that much different than spaghetti?!) and then...takeout. Since we've had the new baby in February, I've found it even harder to be creative with meal times despite my large group of recipes to pull from. So even being a creative blogger I still struggle with … [Read more...]

Scott’s Gro-ables for my Spring Gardening

12_MG_Basil_4809_1209002_V01_zps6f5578dc

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gro-ables for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Truth be told. I'm a terrible gardener. There are a lot of things I consider myself good at, but maintaining a garden isn't one of them. Try as I might, my thumb is as black as they come and I can't ever seem to get it right. I have coworkers who grow amazing vegetables and I'm often envious that I can't seem to get the hang of it, as well. So I was really excited when I found out that Scott's created new Gro-ables to help black thumbed folks like me get a fresh start and chance at gardening! Gro-ables are a new Miracle-Gro … [Read more...]

I have a big sweet tooth and I'm a really picky veggie eater, but I do LOVE me some fruit! Fresh fruit, fruit dips, fruit pies...you name it I love fruit. Another thing I cook with quite often is Philadelphia Cream Cheese. I make tons of meal and dessert … [Read more...]
