Trusting Under Armour for Athletics

Under Armour in our family

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CollectiveBias Every Christmas it's an ongoing joke in my family that we should take stock out in Under Armour because it's always a prevalent gift under the Christmas tree. For YEARS my family has relied on Under Armour for our sports attire. My dad and brother prefer it to run in, my husband prefers it for baseball, and now our son (age 5) gets it as every day wear from us and his grandparents. Under Armour has always been a trusted and preferred brand for us TRULY because of the quality. It may be pricey, but we find that it holds … [Read more...]

Pumpkin Sopapilla Cheesecake

Pumpkin Sopapilla Cheesecake from The Cards We Drew

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #TasteTheSeason #CollectiveBias It's that time of the year to start thinking of Thanksgiving treats and desserts and today I'm sharing a new take on a popular favorite...a Pumpkin Sopapilla Cheesecake. It takes roughly 30 minutes to bake and about 15 minutes to put together and it's AMAZING. The first time I had the regular sopapilla cheesecake my taste buds were MIND BLOWN. I immediately asked for the recipe and it's been a go to easy dessert for years. So I thought to myself, how much MORE amazing would it be to add some pumpkin to … [Read more...]

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party

tmnt cake

I LOVE myself a good party...and this year when my son asked for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party I decided I really wanted to do something special for him since it's his FIFTH birthday! We did the bounce house last year, but that didn't leave momma much room for getting creative, so this year I decided to utilize my VERY under-utilized finished basement, invite a few friends from daycare and baseball over...and celebrate!! There are a lot of different directions you can go with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Parties, but I wanted this to be bright and fun and I made use of their mask colors to decorate the party table … [Read more...]

Disney Junior Jake and the Never Land Pirates Family Night Special Event

This post was sponsored by Disney Junior. All thoughts and opinions are my own. In our household, our son's TV viewing is really limited to a few channels and Disney Junior usually rules all. I personally like Disney Junior because they have cute, wholesome shows and they even teach the kids a little too in the process--I'll see our son practicing counting, or practicing his colors and shapes with the characters and I feel that if nothing else, at least he's getting a little something out of it. His favorite shows happen to be Octonauts, Little Einsteins, and Jack and the Never Land Pirates. And we're SO excited because this weekend, … [Read more...]

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #SpookySnacks #CollectiveBias One of my husband's FAVORITE desserts happens to be about the easiest thing on the planet.
