I LOOOOVE gold right now, so I thought I’d share an easy St. Patrick’s Day Wreath idea that ANYONE can make in a matter of minutes. I still love how my Valentine’s Day wreath turned out last year, so I took that same idea, modified it a bit, and ran with it in the Green and Gold colors!
What you need:
a round “willow” wreath form (that’s what I call it at least…)
gold paint and brush
glitter shamrocks (from JoAnn’s)
hot glue
gold ribbon
The How To:
I started by painting my wreath with gold paint. I’d normally spray paint it, but given the negative degrees outside, it wasn’t possible. From there I spaced out my shamrocks and hot glued them on, then tied a gold ribbon bow at the top and hung it. Literally it takes 20 minutes to make and it’s so sparkly and shiny!!
I love how easy it was and how pretty it turned out. The gold paint that I used isn’t as gold as the ribbon, so there are two different color tones on the wreath, which gives it a little more dimension in my opinion.
And now…stop by the collage below to see what my friends came up with for their gold projects! Click the collage to be redirected to their sites and ideas! Enjoy and be sure to leave them lots of love!
