Mommy Breaks with PEOPLE Magazine & $20 Walgreen’s Giveaway

I’m a full time working mommy, so my “mommy breaks” are pretty few and far between. Late in the evenings after my son and husband have gone to bed, I’ll stay up, watch a movie, read a book, blog, create…but one thing I look forward to peeking through is my subscription to PEOPLE Magazine. I have a Nook, so the newest subscription gets automatically downloaded there every other week and I anxiously await the celebrity gossip that lies inside!
I know, I know…I really should have better things to do than read about Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s relationship or what Jennifer Aniston wore out to dinner, but honestly, it’s just interesting. It’s fun. It’s 1000% different than my every day world of number crunching, dinner making, dish washing, laundry folding, mommy blogging…so why not?? Tell me I’m not the only one!
And on those rare days off, like yesterday with Veteran’s Day, it’s awful nice to be able to sit down with my Starbucks and read my PEOPLE Magazine on my Nook in peace and quiet.

This week, on November 15th, PEOPLE Magazine’s Annual Sexiest Man Alive issue is hitting stands! The issue will only be available for two weeks! WHO DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO WIN?? My vote…Channing Tatum. But let’s be honest, PEOPLE Magazine pretty much knows what they’re doing when choosing winners…right???
