Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Andrew, Casey, and I had a nice breakfast together at Bob Evan’s then went out in the country for a drive, seeking homes for sale. Casey and I have decided to contact a real estate agent and start looking for something for our little family. We’re in a house currently in Blacklick, but we are renting and it is much too small to consider buying AND extending our family in a few years.
Drew is doing very well and is up to 17.5 lbs now! He’s getting so big! He’s the most smiley little man I’ve ever seen. He loves to laugh and giggle at everyone and is quite the ham. He’s starting to lose interest in the pacifier now and find his thumb much more often. He also has started to notice his dog, Macy and is absolutely fascinated by her. If I leave Drew sitting on the floor or in his Bumbo chair, Macy will go lay by him and watch over him, which is REALLY cute. Drew recently got a new toy—a jumperoo, which he adores. He spends a lot of time in that just bouncing around and checking the stuff on it out. He is starting to grab onto things on his own now and can hold himself up on his legs for longer and longer periods of time. We tried out an infant massage instructional video this week, but he wasn’t too into it. We’ll keep trying though because it’s supposed to help with digestion and gas relief, both of which my child definitely needs.
Other than that, the DeHart family is doing very well and just trying to brave this winter out. Casey and I both cannot wait until summer, when I plan to take Friday’s off to take Drew to the park, the pool, the zoo, etc. We really cannot wait for that.
